Stop the ongoing massacre in Syria

November 30, 2016

It is heart breaking to watch the swarm of refugees escaping the bombarded city of Ḥalab (Aleppo). It is even more horrifying to watch children standing in the rubble  speaking about their dead parent or a lost sibling.

But the worst thing is knowing that these people, millions of them, are pawns in the game of leaders who have so many other considerations, just not these human beings.

Stop the ongoing massacre in Syria!

Stop cruelty to animals

November 24, 2016

Someone  on Facebook shared a page with me that breaks my heart. I don’t remember what the specific story was, because since then, this page and others like it  appears with horror stories almost every day.  Now, I know that I can stop the pages from appearing and I can repress the mages until they fade into bad memories. But that won’t stop the horrors.

I feel the need to share some of these pages’ urls, and pray that many will find the strength and motivation to act to the best of their ability against the perpetrators.

Say no to animal cruelty

Animal Rights Warriors

In my perception,  torturing animals is just as bad as torturing human beings, and should be severely punished – with long jail terms. The perpetrators are dangerous to people and should be removed from society.
